Great app with a lot of useful information but please add multisig watch addresses

sends your private key to their servers

Keeps deleting addresses when I close the app. Luckily I didnt have any coins on them, but someone could potentially lose a lot of money if this happened.

This is not beginner friendly at all. Open the app, receive money, lose your phone, lose everything. This app doesnt warn about how to backup your funds. Also doesnt have basic ease of use functionality like being able to specify how much you are requesting from someone. There are far better options

I generated a new BTC address which includes the public key and the private key thru the bitWallet app and then saved it. I then copied my public key to enter it into a website to withdraw my BTCs to the new public address i generated thru the bitWallet app. When I opened the bitWallet app back up to verify the transaction the new address pair had been deleted by the bitWallet app. I then re-added the public key back by pasting it, thinking it was no problem since I still had it copied from pasting it in another website but I cant Cashout my BTCs now since the bitWallet app deleted the key pairs it generated so now I dont have my private key. How can I cashout? I contacted support but still have not heard from them. This is not a small amount of BTCs. If anyone can help please do. In desperate need of assistance.

You will lose money just wait and see. So many others with same issue.If youre new to bitcoin I would not use this app you will lose money and probably a lot. It is very easy to delete your private key. They tend to claim that its almost impossible but you can do it just as easily as a butt dial. The way this company makes their money is they come in and take any abandon bit coins. Beware of this app. If you dont believe me read the reviews before using.

The app is great, lots of features and looks good too. The only issue is the qr code scanner doesnt support multisig addresses (starting with 3 instead of 1)

This is hands down the best wallet I have ever used. Simple interface, real time notifications, choose your own theme, add watch addresses, view confirmations and time stamps on the Blockchain, view real time BTC exchange rates.... The list can go on and on. This is an amazing app that I would easily pay $10 for. But guess what!?!? Its free!

There are comments below where people are claiming that they "erased" their bitcoins and it is the apps fault. These people have next to no knowledge of how a local Bitcoin wallet works. Any normal wallet on a computer lets you erase your wallet. There has also been a claim where this company has stole a users bitcoins, which has also not happened to me. Enjoy your app :)

This app has everything I need in a wallet: 1. HD wallets 2. View my private keys. 3. Print paper wallet. 4. Easy to use pay and receive features. However, there is scant documentation available for this app. Newbies will be somewhat overwhelmed I think. Luckily my background is in software engineering so this is all familiar ground. I back up my private keys and paper wallet. If I wanted to manage an address in another wallet aap, I just sweep from the address using the private key from the clipboard.

I cant find out how to mine it shows on the miners part that it mined hundreds of btc but In my wallet it showed I had no btc

Ive been using this wallet for over a year and it works great and has the features I need. Very versatile. Ive tried several other wallets and none other compare. Great for both "watch only" and active wallets. Almost instant notification after payment sent, initially showing zero confirmations and updating from there.

I have used this app for over a year with 100s of transactions. Not one key lost. Not one error (that I wasnt my fault (grin)). I get paid via bitcoin each week and the app alerrts me on when I get paid and even pushes the notification to my Apple Watch. Cool Stuff. A few people have pointed out that this is an insecure app and that the private keys get sent to their servers. I highly doubt that is happening, besides how would they know. They cant decrypt the traffic being sent any more than an anonymous person in the middle capturing packets. This app has been put on each of my kids phones and I give them each a wallet that they can spend from. I load their wallets from my main wallet whenever they need moulah. Simple and fast. The ability to create paper wallets and send them to any airprint printer works amazingly well. Yes, I would love it if it were Open Source. There are at least 20 other wallets I currently have on my phone. I have tried them all. I keep coming back to the elegant simplicity of bitWallet.

i think it needs an update..

The app worked fine for a few months but as soon as I enabled the security feature weird things started to happen. The fingerprint feature was mostly not working and after a while it didnt accept the 4 digit security code anymore so I was locked out of my wallet. When adding the private and public key to a new wallet the bitcoins were gone. I never held more than 100 USD in the wallet but it is still unpleasant. No replies from Customerservice,

This is the best Bitcoin wallet ever. Its fast, secure and has the option to monitor prices. You can create watch lists or wallets and receive notifications when transactions happen in your wallets. Its the only mobile Bitcoin wallet I use.

You need a password now and the App is locked..... :(

Dont even waste your time horrible service

Cannot do anything with the wallet it generated for me since it deleted the private key. Now I dont have access to my bitcoins :/ terrible !

Ive been using this wallet for over a year now, no problems, works perfect.
